Delivery
Delivery of your gift will be by our courier’s DX or DPD. You will be notified of the courier used and their tracking information via email upon the gift being despatched. Tracking information will also be provided to the recipient if a mobile number is provided.
Our current policy is to deliver directly to the recipient’s address given to us within the order. The courier will obtain a signature upon delivery and take a delivery photo. If the recipient is not home the courier may leave the gift with a neighbour.
On the delivery day, the courier will send a text notification providing an estimated delivery time to the recipient if you have provided a mobile number for them.
If the courier is not able to deliver the gift to the recipient or a neighbour, a calling card will be left at the property giving details for a redelivery attempt. This information may also be emailed or texted.
If you wish to notify us of a safe location to leave the gift, you may do so within the notes section at checkout or by sending us an email to sales@handmade-hamper.co.uk. (Please include your order number if using the email option). We will notify the courier of your request. Please note – The leave safe option will be at your own risk and Handmade Hampers Ltd, will not cover the cost of gifts being damaged or lost.
We are unable to call the recipient to arrange delivery directly with them.

Can I choose a delivery date?
Yes, you can choose your preferred delivery date from our calendar during the checkout process. We offer delivery Monday to Saturday.
Change of Address
If you have made a mistake with the delivery address, please contact us with the correction asap at sales@handmade-hamper.co.uk. If the gift has not yet been dispatched there will be no fee for the address change. If the gift has been dispatched to our courier a change of address fee will be due of £7.95. An invoice will be issued to you and is required to be paid prior to the gift being dispatched to the new address notified.
Returned Parcels
Whilst we try our best to contact the recipient or gift purchaser to sort any delivery issues, we do sometimes have the gifts returned to us.
If your parcel is returned to us, a re-delivery fee will be due in order for us to reattempt the delivery for you. An invoice for £14.95 – which covers the courier’s returned parcel and redelivery fee will be sent to the purchaser. Once this is paid we will arrange dispatch asap. The dispatched gift will be the original gift and not a replacement.
We will attempt to contact the purchaser to notify of the return and hold the gift for 30 days. If we are unable to contact the purchaser after the 30 days the gift will be destroyed.
