The Guv’nor Wine Box
The Guv’nor wines break the winemaking rules and bring you plenty of flavour within each bottle. Presented with a black lidded gift box, these three bottles are proof that throwing out the rule book can yield fantastic results. Spain’s wine laws are notoriously strict and convoluted, but the Guv’nor breaks them all.
The red is bold, fruity and with flavours of bramble, blackcurrant and vanilla it’s a very modern Spanish red. A blend of everything that makes Spanish wine so fantastic, made with Tempranillo grapes from a number of top vineyards. It’s the perfect wine to have in your wine rack, everyone loves it and it goes with everything!
The sparkling bottle is made from a local Spanish grape variety, Viura, and Chardonnay. Expect delicate aromas of blossom, vanilla and stone-fruit and citrus flavours and a deliciously creamy finish that won an IWC award.
The Guv’nor Blanco white wine is pretty special too. Its a combination of three white grapes not usually blended in Spain: Verdejo, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, resulting in a riotous wine. Big and bold, hints of tropical fruit and rich in flavour. A delicious party in a bottle, a celebration of everything that makes Spanish wine so exciting.
